Advice For Taking Prom Pictures!

Family Photos Before Prom 2012

Take pictures of you by yourself in your prom dress. Show off your prom shoes and hair and all the hard work you put into adding "bling" and looking so good!

Make sure you get photos of you and your parents. This is a very special day for them too. After all there little girl is growing up!

Photograph you and your other family members, brothers, sisters and any relatives that come by. Even though siblings can be annoying, they also want to feel like they are a part of your prom!

Photos With Your Prom Date & Friends

When your prom date arrives to pick you up, you’ll want pictures of your date and your family together, you and your date together, and your prom date putting on your corsage.

If your prom date showed up with other people, you’ll want pictures with them too.

Have your parents take pictures of you and your prom date getting into the limo and taking off. This is when your prom night officially begins!

Feel like a celebrity? You should! Take a few pictures in the limo of you and your prom date and the other couples around you. When you get to your destination, take plenty of pictures of all your prom friends.

Take Group Photos At Your Prom

Take group photos. You’ll want pictures of all the girls, pictures of all the guys and pictures of everyone with their prom dates. Try to pick a nice place to take the photos, either by a garden, or some nice scenery. (Take some good ones; they might end up in the yearbook!)

Make sure you take photos of you and your closest prom friends. Everyone is off to college next year; you’ll want to have some nice pictures of all your high school girlfriends.

Photograph Your Prom Event

While you’re at your prom, you should take pictures of the room and all your surroundings. The Prom Committee worked real hard, and you’ll want to be able to look back and remember how much fun you had.

Take pictures of you and all your prom friends dancing and having a blast. The memories will last forever and so will your prom pictures if you take good ones!

Take pictures with some of your favorite teachers. They have helped you all 4 years of high school and to know they are appreciated will mean the world. (Plus they make great end of year gifts if you frame them!)

By the end of your prom night, you should have accumulated tons of great photos. Make sure to save some for the prom after party.

The day after prom, go out to breakfast with all your girlfriends and look at all the photos you guys took. You’ll have a great time looking back and laughing at your senior prom and knowing you have it all on film to remember it by.
